I am incredibly proud to be your Member of Parliament for York Outer, my home and it’s where I live with my wife and son.
As your MP, I have been working hard on the issues that matter to you the most and I’m dedicated to service for York Outer.
I was born and brought up in York Outer and attended Huntington School.
I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University and went on to do a Masters Degree in Political Science in Chicago.
The first two years of my career were spent at the Bank of England where I worked on a number of projects (including the introduction of plastic bank notes). I then went to work in the compliance function of a fast growing Fintech business.
I live in York Outer with my wife, son and our cat and dog.
I was elected to be the MP for York Outer in 2024 having first contested the seat in 2017.
I’m proud to represent the area where I was brought up, and where I live, in Parliament. As your MP I will be working hard to make York Outer an even better place to live, study and work.
