On 23rd June, Luke Charters, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for York Outer, attended a hustings at York College in York. Here, Charters discussed Labour’s plans to bring in 6,500 new teachers and how Labour wants to revolutionise education. Luke acknowledged that he was a recipient of a fantastic state education, having attended Huntington School in York just up the road.
