Save NatWest Heslington
The closure of the accessible branch also poses challenges for our disabled community who will have to travel into York to access the main branch.
NatWest announced that the Heslington branch is set to close in April 2023. For more information on the announcement, please see NatWest’s information document (here).
The closure of the accessible branch also poses challenges for our disabled community who will have to travel into York to access the main branch. This comes at a challenging time when the city centre blue badge ban is posing challenges for how disabled people enter York.
By signing, I call on NatWest to:
- Halt the closure of this essential community branch
- Explore what alternative services can be offered, such as maintaining a staffed presence elsewhere in Heslington
- Follow FCA guidance on branch closures
